What is ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 ?
ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001 are internationally recognised standards for Occupational Health and Safety Management.
On the 12th March 2018 the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management standard was published which over the next three years will replace OHSAS 18001. The ISO 45001 standard has been written to the same framework as the ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 Management System Standards.
Both standards provides a framework that any organisation can use to identify and effectively control its’ occupational health and safety risks.
Achieving compliance to ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 will typically involve identifying the most significant health and safety hazards in the business and taking appropriate action to manage these.
All health and safety legislation applicable to a business and its’ activities must also be identified, documented and complied with.

What is AS4801?
AS 4801 is the Australian and New Zealand Standard indicates requirements for an occupational health and safety management system (OH&S).
This assists an organisation to establish and document a policy and objectives with regards to legislative requirements and hazard identification or risk management. This eliminates or minimizes risk to employees and other stakeholders who may be exposed to OH&S risks at workplace. This standard is consist of monitoring of health and safety management failures, auditing of performance and review of policies and objectives.
